I’m sure I’m not the first to think of this one, but I felt compelled to make it anyway. Maurice Sendak’s books and drawings have had an unquantifiable influence on the work I make everyday. He was a master.

So: thank you, Mr. Sendak, as you sail off to rule as the wildest thing of them all.

Matt Madden’s Rainbow comic exercise. Ya gotta include every colour of the rainbow, in order, in each panel—butcha gotta draw it in black and white. I’ll do a drawing to anyone who gets The Fall reference (the band, not the season).
